Hello, everyone!

I can’t even tell you how super excited I am right now. The Black Eyed Peas are having a concert tomorrow night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California…and I am going! That’s right, I’ll be front and center, dancing to Peas hits like “Let’s Get It Started” and “My Humps.” Oh, and this is also the first time I’ll be seeing Fergie perform her solo hits like “London Bridge” and “Fergalicious.” I can’t wait to sing along to my girl Fergie-Ferg.

Oh, and how’s this for a bonus…Ciara, Danity Kane, and Frankie J are also going to be there. Is this going to be a nonstop party tomorrow night, or what? I hope I don’t lose my voice from all the screaming I’ll be doing. What do you gals think I should wear? Well, anyway, if you have ideas, leave me a comment on this blog.

Did you guys hear the news that Hilary and Joel have called it quits? I sure didn’t see this one coming, especially because I talked to Hilary about two weeks ago and she told me how lucky she was to have such a nice boyfriend! What do you guys think? Will they get back together or will they both move on? And if they do move on, who should Hil date next? Leave a comment and let us know!

Did you know she’s best friends with Alexa Nikolas from Zoey 101? The two sang karaoke together and rocked out to Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”!

After entertaining everyone, the girls sipped smoothies and wound down with their favorite mag.

Oh, and here’s a bonus shot of Assistant Editor Colleen goofing around with Lucas Grabeel at last week’s High School Musical tour rehearsal!

I had a great time hanging out at the red carpet and backstage at the American Music Awards. Music’s biggest stars came out for the show (held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles), from Miley Cyrus to Jesse McCartney to the cast of High School Musical. These guys are all over town this week, promoting the upcoming tour, which you got a preview of (check out yesterday’s blog)!

Miley was the first to stop and chat with us on the red carpet. She brought along her dad Billy Ray, and she looked super cute in a sparkly white dress. Right next to Miley were the Cheetah Girls. Kiely, Sabrina, and Adrienne giggled while they told us about getting ready for the big night.

Fans and even other press people on the red carpet started going wild when “Wind It Up” singer Gwen Stefani walked by. She was rushed inside, so she didn’t have time to chat. The Cheetah Girls told us they were so excited to see Gwen, one of their favorite performers. “Chemicals React” rockers (and AMA nominees) Aly and AJ greeted us with the biggest hugs ever. We asked the girls who took longer to get ready, and the verdict is in: both of them! These two are so much fun to chat with, and they looked so good in their dresses.

Cutie Chris Brown had time to do a video shout out for BOP and Tiger Beat readers. He’s such a sweetheart. Who else did we spot on the red carpet? Well, how about JoJo and Fall Out Boy right next to each other! Unfortch, JoJo was also rushed inside, but she did wave and gave us a flying kiss. Okay, it was a mission to get Fall Out Boy to do a shout-out to you guys. Mission accomplished! Pete even makes his sneering face right after. He’s so funny!

It was mere minutes before the start of the show, but the red carpet was still buzzing with celebrities. The cast of HSM finally made their way to our spot on the carpet, and they all looked sensational. Zac Efron couldn’t make it, but Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel were all there. They said it feels like a school reunion every time they all get together. They really are such close friends.

During the show, I got to go backstage and hang out in the General Press Area. This is where award winners, presenters, and performers go after stepping off the stage. I knew I was going to get some good stuff here for you. Jesse McCartney stopped by and told us he just read a script for a movie - so watch out for Jesse’s screen comeback! American Idol winners Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks also chatted with us backstage. They’re both so thankful for the opportunities winning Idol has given them. Stars like JoJo, JC Chasez, and Sean Paul also stopped by the Press Area. I had so much fun.

Last night, we were invited to catch a sneak preview of the High School Musical concert tour! Let me just say that if you have tickets, you are so, so lucky. It was amazing to see them recreate scenes from the movie on a such a grand scale and we can’t wait to see the show again in a packed stadium!

Drew Seeley, whose vocals you heard on both the High School Musical and Cheetah Girls 2 soundtracks, did a great job standing in for Zac (who’s busy filming Hairspray in Canada). Lucas was so much fun as the show’s emcee and Vanessa, Corbin and Ashley even previewed songs from their upcoming solo albums! It was such a fun night and after the show, we got to kick it with everyone. And what’s really cool is that even when the cameras stop rolling, the whole cast is totally tight. Guess who else we spotted there? Brenda Song, who was there to support her Suite Life co-star!

Tonight we’re hitting up the American Music Awards, where we’ll get to catch up with the Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson and Aly & AJ! Pictures from our sleepover with Vanessa (which rocked!) and the HSM tour preview will be up as soon as possible. We’re having some “technical difficulties” with our digital camera

Hope you all had a good week at school. We’re totally psyched because Vanessa Hudgens invited us to a sleepover party that she’s having here in Hollywood tomorrow night! And on Sunday, we’re going to this totally awesome Christmas tree lighting with JoJo, Katharine McPhee and the cast of High School Musical!
