I got a VIP pass to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert at the Hollywood and Highland complex in Hollywood, CA yesterday. I had so much fun. It was a little hot outside, but being around all the Miley fans made it totally worth it! I got there a few hours before the show started and there were already hundreds of fans waiting. The stage had an awesome backdrop that said Hannah Montana on it. I got to go behind the stage and saw a Miley Cyrus backdrop, too. That’s because it was a double show yesterday. Miley first performed as Hannah Montana and then she sang three more songs from her CD Meet Miley Cyrus.

I spotted Miley with her mom Tish and a couple of dancers literally minutes before her Hannah show began. She posed for some TV cameras while the crowd on the other side shouted “Hannah! Hannah!” She came out wearing a sparkly top, aqua blue pants and her famous blonde wig in a punky do. She looked so cute. The show started with a minor technical glitch - her mic wasn’t working! But Miley (as Hannah) kept on singing and dancing through the first song. When her audio came back on, she told the crowd “You guys keep rocking, I’ll be right back!” She came back singing “Make Some Noise” and the fans went wild! But the show was not over yet. There was a short break while Miley changed out of her Hannah look and into her Miley performance outfit. During the break, costar Jason Earles came out to hand out prizes and talk to the crowd with Radio Disney DJ Adam. Jason even danced and sang, even though he said he wasn’t very good at it. A few minutes later, Billy Ray Cyrus came out to introduce Miley. In the middle of his speech, she ran out onstage and surprised her dad. It was so cute. Miley wore a grey tee, yellow plaid skirt and knee high bobby socks. It was preppy punk, Miley style! Her hair was dark, long and gorgeous. This was Miley at her natural best. She enjoyed performing as herself and her fans loved every minute of it. She closed the show with a sure to be a hit song “G.N.O. (Girl’s Night Out).” She thanked everyone for coming out and supporting her DVD Hannah Montana: Pop Star Profile and her 2-disc CD Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus. I had an awesome time and can’t wait to see Miley in concert again!

Afterwards, I got to go to an exclusive after party with Miley. They served yummy snacks like mac n cheese balls, teriyaki skewers and lots of desserts. Miley arrived with her mom, dad, big brother Trace and big sister Brandi. They are such a close and happy family. Miley posed for photographers and then did some TV interviews before sitting down to talk to me. She dished about back to school advice, boys (of course!) and her upcoming tour. “It starts in October and ends in January,” Miley tells me. Even though she just had two concerts and did a lot of interviews, Miley’s energy kept going. She was smiling the whole time and so happy to be there chatting with me. Once again, I had the time of my life and have to thank Miley and her fans for that!

OMG, best Monday morning news ever! I just found out that Miley Cyrus is going on tour this fall. Expect double the fun, because she’ll be performing songs as Hannah Montana and as herself.

“There’s nothing more fun than being out on stage and feeling the vibe from the crowd,” Miley says. “The energy from the fans makes me want to give it my all every night. I’m so excited for fans to hear my solo material. The music is introducing everyone to me, Miley Cyrus, the girl underneath the wig. The songs are personal and will give fans a chance to understand and relate to me. Listening to the lyrics will also show why I love doing what I do – singing, acting and dancing.”

Miley wants to help out as well, and she is donating $1 from each ticket sold to The City of Hope, a foundation that does research for the prevention and cure of diseases like cancer. So, of you buy a ticket to see Miley, you’ll be supporting a great cause at the same time!

Are you guys psyched for new episodes of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody? Well, I was pretty excited myself, but after yesterday, I don’t know how I’m going to wait two whole days for the season premiere! Yesterday was amazing because I got to hang out on the set of The Suite Life and watch them rehearse for an upcoming episode!

When I pulled up to the set I heard someone calling my name. It was Jason Dolley and his super-sweet mom, Michelle! I didn’t know it, but Cory in the House is taped on the same lot, and as I was arriving, they were heading out for the day. So cool! Anyway, I walked in and couldn’t believe I was actually standing in Zack and Cody’s suite! Rehearsals began and Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song, Dylan and Cole Sprouse are so, so funny. It was so cool to watch them interact behind the scenes. In interviews, they always talk about how they’re superclose (like brothers and sisters) in real life. Well guess what – they totally are!

What’s especially cool is that in the upcoming episode, both Maddie AND London are competing for the part of Sharpay in their school production of High School Musical! So is Maddie too nice to play the part? And can Brenda carry a tune? You’ll find out in what’s bound to be one of the funniest, craziest episodes of The Suite Life!

When rehearsals were over, I hung out in Ashley’s dressing room for a little bit. I was sitting on her couch when I noticed a framed picture of two adorable little girls. When I looked closer, I realized it was Ashley and Raven – yes, that Raven – from a modeling job they’d done as little kids! How cool is that? While we were gabbing about High School Musical 2 and The Suite Life, her cell phone rang. In case you were wondering, her current ring tone is “Five Minutes to Midnight” by Boys Like Girls.

After leaving the set, Assistant Editor Colleen and I met up with another High School Musical star, KayCee Stroh aka hip-hop braniac Martha Cox. She is so excited for you guys to see the sequel and she also told me that she recently shot another episode of The Suite Life! I asked her about her summer plans and she said she’s superpsyched to check out pal Corbin Bleu’s tour! Whew, what a day! I got home just in time for So You Think You Can Dance. Have you guys been watching?

OMG, you guys will never believe what I did last Monday: I went backstage at MTV’s TRL with Miley Cyrus. She is the coolest girl. I have to tell you she has not changed one bit since she became a famous star. She’s still the same giggly girl with the bright blue eyes who makes you laugh all the time. Miley looked so cute. She was wearing jeans and a colorful shirt and the coolest chunky black necklace. She just dyed her hair a beautiful dark brown and was wearing her extensions, but her mom, Tish, told me she just wears them for a little extra length because her natural hair is getting pretty long. Tish also told me that every day when Miley gets home from working on Hannah Montana, she hops on her bike and rides around the neighborhood with all of her friends.

Miley and I talked in what’s called the “green room.” That’s the Hollywood term used for the place celebrities wait before they go out on stage. In the MTV green room, the couch is red, the walls are purple and there’s snacks and drinks in case you get hungry.
We chatted about a whole bunch of stuff, but you’ll get to read about that in the new issues of BOP and Tiger Beat magazines. But the thing she was most proud to talk about was her new album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, which comes out June 26. It’s really two CDs in one. One CD has all of the best songs from superstar Hannah Montana, and the other has songs from real-girl Miley. She told me she is especially excited for you to hear her personal music, because she writes on the songs and tells you what her life is like.

OMG, I almost forgot to tell you. The other cool thing that happened backstage was that Miley got to hang out with Fergie, since she was on the show, too. Miley and Fergie totally goofed off in the photo booth and Miley said Fergie gave her some advice about stardom. “Fergie said to be careful and to always be yourself,” Miley told me. That’s really sweet.

Hey, Miley wanted to record a special video for you, check it out! The lighting isn’t really bright in the green room, so the video is a little grainy. But, that’s okay, because Miley still shines!

Guess what, I was just in New York City with Vanessa Hudgens the day before Father’s Day and got to meet her dad, Greg. I’ve met her mom Gina before a whole bunch of times, but this is the first time I’ve met her dad. I met up with them at the Toys “R” Us in Times Square, where they did an event together for the new game called Rubik’s Revolution.

Her dad, Greg, was really, really sweet and you could just tell he was so proud of his baby V. When I asked him to describe Vanessa, he said in a really quiet voice, “That’s a hard question because there are so many things to be proud of.” I even saw tears of joy in his eyes. Ahhh!

Vanessa looked way cute. She was wearing a summery off-white spaghetti-strapped tank top and jeans with a superthin gold belt. Her hair was just below her shoulders. She gave me some gossip about High School Musical 2, which you can read in October BOP, which goes on sale August 14, just before the premiere of the movie!
