Twilight stars spill their favorite scenes!
Posted on November 30th, 2008 at 7:00 am by Blog Girl

I know all you Twilighters have a fave scene in the movie, but just for you, I went and found out which scenes the Twilight stars loved!

STOP! SPOILER ALERTS BELOW IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVIE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! (:

Turns out a bunch of them loved the fight scene, including Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), and Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Cullen). “I love stunts!” Kellan says. “So I love the ballet scene where we jump over the balcony. We have that whole fight sequence where Jackson [Rathbone] and I just kill James, and it’s just so menacing and fun!” Ashley agrees! “It was kind of a twist on Alice’s character, and gives her a different element!” she explains. “It was nice that I was the one who got to attack James and finish him off.” Jackson adds, “I love the action sequences. It’s pretty sweet!”

Kristen Stewart, who stars as Bella, enjoyed the baseball scene. “That was the first time the whole cast was together in one scene, including the three bad vampires.” she spills. “It was fun because everybody was there. We were just sort of gritting our teeth through the cold. We were freezing!”

Kristen even told us a little known fact about the scene when she and Rob are up in the tree.

Apparently, one of the lines wasn’t in the script and was totally Rob’s idea! “We were in the tree and Edward is showing Bella the most beautiful view,” Kristen explains, “and I say ‘This kind of stuff doesn’t exist’ and he says, ‘It does in my world.’ That’s all Rob!” How cool is that!

And just in case you didn’t know, there IS going to be sequel to Twilight! They will start shooting New Moon around March 2009 and they’re definitely going to film some key scenes in Italy! OMG! I can’t wait!

One more thing! Save the date, ‘cause if you’re a Texas Twilighter, the Twicon—a conference inspired by Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight series—will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel on July 30-Augst 2, 2009. Check out it out if you’re in the area. The Twicon will feature a movie screening, live performances, a Volturi Masque Ball, opportunities to meet the cast, breakout sessions and workshops! Until then, fill your Twilight void with posters of the cast, which you can find in the January issue of BOP!

Selena spills, “Someone thought I was Demi!”
Posted on November 29th, 2008 at 7:31 am by Blog Girl

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are totally inseparable, but they’re still awesome as individuals. Selena told me about the time someone thought she was Demi, and how she handled the funny sitch!

“Someone thought I was Demi,” Selena remembers. “I played along with it and I went ‘Totally!’ I know her signature like the back of my hand so I did it and was like, ‘Take care!’”

Happy “Black Friday” Blog Girl readers!

You guys are probably as stuffed as I am from yesterday’s feast, but put on some comfy shoes and your cutest track suit and get movin’ to the mall. Today is “Black Friday” - the biggest shopping day of the year! Here are a few of the hottest places to shop (and spot some of your fave stars, too):

Selena Gomez has been seen going on shopping sprees to American Eagle Outfitters. To steal Selena’s look try wearing a tee with a skinny scarf. “Part of my closet is just scarves,” Selena admits. “And then I’ll open drawers and find them randomly. I’m obsessed!”

The next two places to check out are Forever 21 and Claire’s. Want to snag Miley’s look? Check out Forever 21’s bright colored tees and Claire’s fun jewelry, but don’t forget to rock your peace-sign pose like Miley!

Urban Outfitters is one of Demi Lovato’s favorite stores. Be sure to get there early to swoop in some incredible deals and super trendy merchandise. All you need is UO’s amazing plaid shirts and stylish hats that are totally Demi.

To recreate the Jonas Brothers’ style, look no further than Target. Make sure to pick up some graphic tees, colored denim and cute sneakers. Now that’s a look that everyone’s “Burnin’ Up” for!

I hope this little guide helps on this Friday shopping frenzy. Be sure to let me know where YOU snagged the best deals and you’re favorite purchases!

Taylor’s Thanksgiving blog

Country superstar Taylor Swift wrote a blog thanking her fans for her American Music Award win last Sunday. She’s also got a sweet Thanksgiving shout out to her family:

“You DID IT!!!! IJREKLNVKDSLJBFL KXCMFLJEWLK THANK YOU!!! I can’t tell you how thankful/amazed/excited/ecstatic/overjoyed/blown away I am that you won me my FIRST American Music Award! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again now.. There’s nothing like a fan-voted award. They mean so much to me. When I heard my name called, I was thinking to myself ‘I can’t believe they did this for me. I can’t believe it!’ All the signings and meet and greets and concerts and faces were running through my head, as I ran up the stairs to go accept an award you won for me. I’ve always wanted an American Music Award, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have you out there doing these things for me. I’m so thankful for you, and your huge signs you make and hold up at my concerts. I’m thankful for the handmade t-shirts with song lyrics painted on them, and the scrapbooks you give me filled with pictures of us. I’m thankful for the people I’ve taken arm’s-length pictures with, and for the people who put my songs up as their profile song on MySpace. I’m thankful for the girls who walk right up and hug me, instead of keeping their distance. I’m thankful for the fact that you take the time to memorize the lyrics I write. You might think that’s something simple, but you have no idea what that means to me. I’m thankful that, even when it’s raining, I’ve got people to count on. You’re those people to me. Happy Thanksgiving. You’re what I’m most thankful for.

lovelovelove_-T-

P.S. I’m also thankful for my mom’s incredible, quirky, obnoxiously loud side of the family. They’re all women, and they all gather together at Thanksgiving and join forces to create the loudest possible holiday ever. I’m sure I’ll get it all on video.

She’s so cool! Keep making your signs and T-shirts for Taylor and show your support at her shows! I know I will :)

What’s Miley thankful for?
Posted on November 26th, 2008 at 3:20 pm by Blog Girl

At Thanksgiving dinner, everyone in my family says what they’re thankful for. Well, Miley Cyrus told the Associated Press what she is thankful for, too.

“Mostly it’s my family. I think I’ve realized that mostly this year, because there’s been so many crazy ups and downs, and so many different things, and I’ve always had the same family to come home to that will treat me like the same Miley as I was in Nashville. So, cool.”

Cody’s pick for next season’s DWTS is…
Posted on November 26th, 2008 at 2:32 pm by Blog Girl

Now that Dancing With The Stars is over and Brooke Burke has been crowned the winner (fun fact: When I ran into Madison Pettis on Monday night, she was rooting for Brooke!), we asked Cody who he thought should try out next. Who did he say? Check it out!

Cody: That’s a tough question, but I would probably say Camp Rock’s Roshon Fegan. He’s come out to support me. He came out to the show once. He’s a good dancer. He’s really good. I think that he could probably pick up the ballroom style pretty quickly, because he’s a great hip-hop dancer. He’s got a lot of fun energy, and he’s a musician, too. I think that, since I play guitar and I’m really into music, it’s helped me with my dances — with the rhythm and the counting, and stuff like that.

So whaddya think? Should cutie Roshon put on his dancing shoes?
