OMG! We were so excited when we read Taylor’s blog and heard she’s going to be the musical act this Saturday, January 10th, on Saturday Night Live! For over 30 years, SNL has featured some of the HOTTEST performers, so it’s no wonder Taylor is now one of them!

I think the only person who is more excited for Taylor’s performance than all of us at Tiger Beat and BOP is Taylor herself! She said in her blog that this is “Something I’ve been dreaming about and hoping for and wishing for years.” Not only that, but Saturday is Taylor’s mom’s birthday! So this is also a great b-day present for her. She continued to write, “I don’t think either of us would’ve believed you if you would’ve told us a few years ago that we’d get to spend her birthday in New York City— at Saturday Night Live! Wow. It’s pretty unreal.”

Hey! What are you guys doing tomorrow night? I’ll be glued to my TV for Nickelodeon’s “Kiss Night.” Not only will we see a smooch between Nathan Kress and Jennette McCurdy on iCarly (and you can read all about that in the January issue of Tiger Beat, on sale now!), but there will be another major kiss on True Jackson, VP!

That’s right, True (played by Keke Palmer) gets to kiss her secret crush, Jimmy! If you watch the show, you know Jimmy works in the mail room and True, who is a fashion superstar, thinks he’s a cutie. I won’t give too much away, but when Jimmy gives True a kiss to thank her for helping his band get a gig, she wonders if it’s more than a thank you.

Tune in tomorrow night for all of the kiss action on iCarly and True Jackson, VP!

Blog Girl just wanted to send a BIG congratulations to Selena Gomez. She was just listed as one of the “Top 10 Women of the Year” by the Sun Times in Chicago. She’s the youngest person on the list and made the cut next to some of the most important women in the world right now. Rock on, Selena! You’ve always been in our “Top 10!”

Hi All!

In case you don’t know the day after Christmas (which is today!) is traditionally known as “Boxing Day.” It’s mainly celebrated in other areas of the world (like Canada and Australia) but the concept is really cool. It’s the idea where you put everything you don’t need or want anymore into a box and give to the less fortunate.

For a lot of your favorite stars, this idea isn’t hard for them to understand. So many of the celebs you have on your walls are giving back to their communities all the time! Selena Gomez is the spokesperson for UNICEF, The Jonas Brothers set up the Change for the Children Foundation, and many others, like Jason Dolley and Emily Osment, are extremely vocal about the environment. It just goes to show you that you can never be too young (or too famous) to make a difference in this world!

Hey everyone!

On Saturday I hung out with a really hot new group made of five girls (Shelby, Katie, Kate, Sophia and Shae) called KSM. The girls came up with the name KSM combining their first-name initials (all K’s and S’s) and the word “Music.” They’re managed by the same people that manage the Jonas Brothers which says a LOT about how rad they are. I drove down to Anaheim to the Honda Center for their concert - they’ve been on tour opening up for The Cheetah Girls. We hung out and chatted backstage before the show. For five rockin’ chicks, they were super sweet and down to earth. They even invited me in to their tour bus to see what rock star livin’ is really all about.
