I just received preview pics of tonight’s American Idol episode featuring Gwen Stefani. The “Sweet Escape” singer met with the Idols and gave tips. Tonight’s style of music will be POP and Gwen definitely knows a thing or two about it!

I love Tuesdays, because it’s when all the new CDs and DVDs come out. As far as DVDs, you know what’s in stores today? Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest. Mmmm… Johnny. Mmmmmm… Orlando!

BUT it’s a huge day in music stores, because both Gwen Stefani and Ciara have new CDs out today. Gwen’s The Sweet Escape, features the addictive “Wind It Up.” Seriously, I cannot get that song out of my head. On the other hand, Ciara’s The Evolution is out today, too. It has the superpretty and cool song, “Promise.”

So… which CD are you guys going to pick up today? Or which one would you rather have?

Also, I have to do a shout-out to Carrie Underwood and the cast of High School Musical, who have the top-selling albums of 2006, according to SoundScan. Wow! Way to go, guys!
