The theme for yesterday’s Teen Choice Awards, held at Universal Studios Hollywood, was “Teens Go Green.” It totally made sense when I found my spot on the grass carpet! There were light rain showers before the celeb arrivals began. I was a little worried I wasn’t going to get to interview the stars, but luckily, it cleared up just in time!

One of my first interviews of the day was Selena Gomez, star of the upcoming TV show Wizards of Waverly Place. She looked so cute in a black top and animal print pants. I found out Selena couldn’t decide until last minute what to wear to the awards show. Well, she picked a super cute outfit, that’s for sure! I loved her Mickey Mouse charm necklace. Selena told me it was a gift from Disney Channel. How sweet!

Jump In! star KeKe Palmer also stopped by to chat. I thought her white dress was perfect for the summer. KeKe told me about her new album So Uncool. It goes onsale September 18th and features “Keep It Moving,” the first single and video off the CD. “It’s R&B and hip-hop,” KeKe said. “It’s a cool and fun vibe.” She told me that she got some advice from Corbin Bleu while making her album.

Then, the moment I was waiting for all morning finally arrived - THE JONAS BROTHERS! They just came back from performing at the Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day concert in New York last Saturday. Nick, Joe and Kevin were dressed up to the nines, looking so cute in their outfits. I asked Kevin about his new hair style. “I’ve decided to go a little curly,” he tells me. “I just wanted to change things up a bit.” Joe then told me about sharing clothes with his brothers. “I take things from Kevin’s closet, maybe a little from Nick,” he laughs. I also loved that all three of them sported way cool retro-looking sunglasses. “It’s sunny out now so you gotta do the sunglasses,” Nick smiles. “It’s part of the look.” I totally agree!

The first thing Mitchel Musso did when he saw me was hug me. He was so sweet and totally head-to-toe stylish in his matching black hoodie and baseball cap. I also couldn’t take my eyes off Mitchel’s blinged out “L.A.” necklace and belt buckle. He sure knew how to arrive in style! I also noticed a unique accessory Mitchel wore - a thin plastic band around his right wrist. “This came off a weed whacker that cut my finger,” he says. “I’ve had this on for like five years and it hasn’t come off yet.”

The carpet got crazy busy minutes before the show started. The celebrities kept passing by, including host Hilary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Avril Lavigne, and of course, ZAC EFRON. The hottie looked casual and cute yesterday, rocking a white t-shirt and vest. Everyone was screaming for Zac but he had to get rushed inside for the show. I also caught a glimpse of MILEY CYRUS, wearing a very cute sparkly blue dress, giving hugs to everyone on the red carpet, including KeKe and the HSM 2 stars.

I got to watch the entire show backstage. The celebs would come back to the press room after presenting or receiving an award. I knew this was my chance to ask Miley a couple of questions. She came in towards the end of the show and told me that none other than Kenny Ortega - HSM director - will be directing her tour with the Jonas Brothers! I loved her outfit so I had to find out how long it took her to get ready for the show. “It took me about one to two hours,” Miley says. “I kind of got in trouble for running late.” Miley and I also talked about her quick cameo on HSM 2. “I was on set for two days and it was so much fun,” she adds. “It was a good experience.”

I spent most of today hanging out with pop superstar Hilary Duff. The girl can definitely do it all - sing, dance, act, even design clothes - but I found out something else that’s very, very close to Hilary’s heart. No, it’s not a boy (although she wouldn’t tell me who she’s crushing on yet). Hilary does a lot of community and charity work, and today, she visited Normandie Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA. I gotta give a shout out to the Cougars! The students were so excited to meet Hilary, who was there to celebrate the success of “Blessings in a Backpack.” She even helped stuff food into backpacks that would be given to the students. The entire school was screaming for Hilary when she greeted them in a special assembly. One of the third grade classes even sang for her. She was so moved, she began to tear up. I sure didn’t see this one coming, especially because I talked to Hilary about two weeks ago and she told me how lucky she was to have such a nice boyfriend! What do you guys think?
