*******
Blog Girl: Hey Miranda! I’m so excited about your upcoming album! Miranda: Me too! I’m feeling pretty good about it.
Blog Girl: Are you a rocker? Miranda: Yeah! It’s more pop-rock, but definitely rockerish!
Blog Girl: What was the best piece of advice someone has given you about writing a song? Miranda: Probably to not be afraid and to go ahead and give your ideas. Like when I first started out I didn’t want to say the wrong thing but I learned that sometimes a line that seems wrong might end up being the best line of the song so you just have to go for it!
Blog Girl: What do you hope your fans will get out of this album?
Miranda: I hope they have a good time listening to it! Most of the songs are just really fun to listen to.
Blog Girl: What advice to do you have for girls who want to be singers? Miranda: Practice a lot! I’ve been taking a lot of lessons since I was little. It’s cool because you become more confident with yourself. It really helps! Even if it’s just singing along with the radio.
Blog Girl: Do you have any special things you do before you start singing? Miranda: I drink tea sometimes before I record. A lot of people do that.
Blog Girl: Have your iCarly costars Nathan Kress and Jennette McCurdy heard the album yet? Miranda: They heard the songs on the iCarly CD, but I haven’t gotten to play them any of my songs yet so it will be cool when I finally do!
Blog Girl: Do you, Jennette and Nathan break out in song on the iCarly set? Miranda: Sometimes. Nathan even sings! He’s really into the same bands that I’m into like Paramore so he’ll join in too. He’ll be humming something and the rest of the day we’ll be singing it on set! It’s so funny!
Blog Girl: Would the three of you ever record a song together? Miranda: That would be cool. We haven’t really talked about it, but it would be so fun!
