You know, Nick Jonas is one of the most sought after teenagers in the country these days. Not only does he continue to write and perform amazingly beautiful songs, but he’s also working hard on his upcoming TV show, JONAS and appearing on talk shows all over the country. Yes, this cutie is certainly a multi tasker to say the least!
With everything he’s got going on, however, Nick J makes sure to always remain very active and vocal in ONE major cause: the cure for diabetes. This past Sunday he attended and spoke at The Juvenile Diabetes Walk for the Cure held in Los Angeles. He even made a PSA (which is posted below) that appeared on Disney that same day to get the awareness out. It just goes to show you that even as a superstar celebrity, it is still important to fight for what you believe in. We’re proud of and rooting for you, Nick!

Selena Gomez told Blogamole in a recent interview that she totally called Nick to wish him a happy birthday a couple of weeks ago. The celeb said, “I wished him a happy birthday and I hope he had a great birthday. On his actual birthday I was working so a phone call was pretty much the extent of it all.” When asked if there was any sort of surprise gift that she gave him, Selena blushed and laughed replying almost shyly, “There was a gift.”
So, girls, what do YOU think? Does this prove in any way that the rumor that Nick and Selena are together is true? I’m not sure what to believe…
As I’m sure you remember, Blog Girl posted two videos a couple weeks ago of Nick Jonas’s press conference in New York about his struggle with his diabetes. At one point during the press conference, Joe and Kevin Jonas get up on stage and expose their feelings on when they first found out about their younger brother’s diagnosis. The ENTIRE VIDEO is posted on our myspace page in our blog section. You can click the links to go there - but you won’t be able to view it unless you have added us as a friend.
Here is a little snippet of what Kevin said:
“When we first found out we weren’t very educated and when we did see the symptoms and things like that we knew something was going on…When we first learned about it, it was very, very scary.”
