Hey guys!
I hung out with the Cheetah Girls last Friday at their video shoot for “Fuego.” It’s the first single off their new album TCG and I have to say, the video’s gonna be awesome. I arrived at the studio where they were filming and saw the girls in stylish and colorful clothes. It was a very hip-hop vibe. They were dancing, singing and having a blast! Sabrina Bryan was the first to spot me and she waved “Hi!” Kiely Williams came over to talk to me first and I loved her big gold earrings. Kiely felt differently about them though. “They’re a little heavy, especially when I’m dancing,” she laughs. She also helped her bandmates with posing for the cameras and with remembering their choreography. Adrienne Bailon was so sweet and gave me a hug when she came over. I could tell the girls were really excited to make this video. I followed Adrienne and Sabrina to the hair and makeup room to get their touchups. There was so much makeup and hair products in the room! I thought it was cute that the girls refer to their stylists as “the glam squad.” They definitely give them their fierce Cheetalicious style!
The girls had a bit of a break for lunch. They snacked on potato chips and ate chicken, salads, fruit and yummy cookies and brownies. I saw Sabrina’s Dancing With The Stars partner Mark and wondered if they were going to rehearse for tonight’s show. Sure enough, the two were practicing their fox trot at the studio while the crew got the second video scene ready. Sabrina told me that she gets more nervous doing the slower ballroom dances versus the faster Latin routines. The second scene looked amazing, with a really shiny red floor and a huge backdrop that looks like an island sunset. The girls really got their choreography down, even though they were wearing heels on a slick floor! Their stylist had to scratch the bottom of each girls’ shoes to prevent any slips.
I also found out from the Cheetahs that they’ve been working on a couple of individual projects on the side. Kiely filmed a movie, Adrienne’s going to visit Ecuador with her dad, and Sabrina’s planning to release BYOU 2 - her dance and workout DVD. The girls are totally hyped for the New Year because they’ll be going to India to shoot Cheetah Girls 3! I managed to get them to spill some secrets, but I can’t share them with you just yet. Stay tuned for more Cheetalicious secrets about their third movie, and watch out for the new video “Fuego!”
