The Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks performed a show together in Nashville last night (if you were there, I wanna know how you liked it!). It looked like a LOT of fun. Mainly because Jordin uploaded some photos of her and Joe goofing around while they weren’t on stage. Check ‘em out and tell me what you think!
By the looks of their faces, it seems like Jordin and Joe have the same silly sense of humor! No wonder they’re friends!
When we saw this pic of Joe with facial hair on ONTD, we immediately wanted to know whether all of YOU, the true Jonas fans, had an opinion about it. So, whaddaya think? Do you like this new scruffy look or do wish Joe would go back to his clean shaven face? Don’t hold back, tell Blog Girl everything!
OMJ! It’s not even 2009 yet and already it looks like it’s going to be ANOTHER year of Jonas. Not that we’re surprised - we know these boys rock now more than ever!
This morning, the boys posted a blog on their MySpace page where they talked about how much fun they had in 2008 and how excited they are for this new year. They’ve got SOOO much planned for 2009 but the most exciting thing is they wrote,
“we will launch our first ever JB WORLD TOUR.”
Now all the Jonas fans across the globe can experience the boys live and in action, which is super awesome! Are YOU excited for this????!!!!
OMJ! Check out this vid of The Jonas Brothers live performance of their song “Video Girl” from their 3D movie. I like the sound of it a lot - it reminds me of “Lovebug”. Watch it and tell me what YOU think of it!
In case you don’t know the day after Christmas (which is today!) is traditionally known as “Boxing Day.” It’s mainly celebrated in other areas of the world (like Canada and Australia) but the concept is really cool. It’s the idea where you put everything you don’t need or want anymore into a box and give to the less fortunate.
For a lot of your favorite stars, this idea isn’t hard for them to understand. So many of the celebs you have on your walls are giving back to their communities all the time! Selena Gomez is the spokesperson for UNICEF, The Jonas Brothers set up the Change for the Children Foundation, and many others, like Jason Dolley and Emily Osment, are extremely vocal about the environment. It just goes to show you that you can never be too young (or too famous) to make a difference in this world!
How do YOU give back to your community? Leave a comment and let Blog Girl know!
We sat down with The Jonas brothers and asked them what they’re looking forward to most this Christmas. The answer may surprise you because it isn’t the gifts!
Instead, the boys feel like the “Christmas spirit” is more about giving and less about receiving. “The best was when I was actually able to pay for things with my own money and finally pay for it as opposed to someone else,” Nick said, “I fell in love with giving the gifts.” Both of his brothers nodded their heads in agreement and Kevin chimed in to add, “Giving gifts for us is so exciting. You get so excited!”
So what is the best gift they’ve gotten for someone so far? They don’t even know yet! “I’m not done shopping yet,” Nick smiled, “I have more people to get for.”
Everyone has their own holiday traditions. But what is the household of Jonas like this time of year? In 2007, the boys weren’t at home for the holiday. Joe told us, “Last year was spent in NYC.” But did that bum out the boys? No way! Kevin immediately cut in to add that it was “One of the favorite Christmases of ours.”
So what’s in store for the Jonas Brothers this December 25th? Nick let us in and told us all about it. “I think this year will be pretty great,” he beamed, “It will be for the first time at our home in TX. It will be warm enough to play golf which I love but cold enough to feel like it’s Christmas. Family, friends, we’re really excited about it.”
I’m so glad the boys are going to relax a little bit this holiday. If you wanna wish Nick, Kevin and Joe a “Merry Christmas,” leave it in our comments for them to see!
OMG, my knees nearly buckled from under me when I saw this vid of The Jonas Brothers singing Stevie Wonder’s “Superstitious” with Jordin Sparks at a surprise post-AMA concert earlier this year. Check it out and see for yourself! Listen to Nick and Joe belt it out…
With the New Year right around the corner, one might think that Nick, Kevin and Joe would be planning some huge party to ring in 2009 Jonas style. But, as many of you know, the boys are set to perform as one of the guests on Dick Clark’s Rock N’ Roll Christmas. So, are the boys bummed they won’t be partyin’ it up this New Years Eve with their pals? Not at all! In fact, when I asked Nick J how he felt about performing this New Years again he said he was, “so excited! We’ll be playing in Times Square this time.” Kevin then quickly joined in with a smile and agreed, “It’s going to be a blast. Can’t wait!” Yet another reason that proves Jonas lives for their fans 24/7 even on holidays. Thanks, guys!
Are YOU gonna tune in New Years eve to watch Jonas perform?!
Are you all counting down the days til Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience hits theaters?! You know WE are! And, we got some VERY exciting news about it. Turns out, the boys are going to be premiering their never-before-heard song, “Love Is On Its Way” during the movie. Sigh…
Just another reason to first in line on February 27, 2009 to see the movie! What do you think the song is about? Do you think any one person might have inspired it? Let me know!
